I dream of becoming an author and so i (on PC) started writing a book could Golden Shoe Farm. It's about Alice, a girl who has a great connection with horses. I thought those of you out there would like a sneak peak. Here it is:
The green car came rolling up the driveway and a boy with black hair welcomed the family. Happily Alice jumped out of the car and took a deep breath. It was the right smell ; horse sweat and hay. “ Hello Jack ,” mrs Hide said shaking the boys’ hand , “ Thank you for opening the gate .” Alice was cast away on a boat to the land of horses. All kinds of horses stuck their heads out of the stables and nickered at the sight of a visitor. A grey Irish Draught was the first that Alice stroked, followed by a Dutch Draught, an Appaloosa and a Italian Draught. But then an empty stall made Alice curious. “ umm … why is this stall empty?” asked Alice to Jack the stable hand. “ oh. That’s what I need to show you.” Alice followed Jack out to a field where a red roan was held by a girl. “ Hiya Jack!” the blonde haired shouted. Jack led Alice in closing the gate behind him. “ This is Angel. He’s an Ardennais.” Alice stood, confused. “ uh… why are you showing me?” she asked.
“ He’s yours!” Jack sounded exasperated and Alice felt herself blush with embarrassment. She reached out a hand and stroked the pretty roan. To Alice’s surprise he didn’t twitch an ear. The heavy horse gave a whinny and itched his head against a giggling Alice. “ Come on Alice your mum is cooking us tea!” Jack grabbed her hand and ran with a smiling Alice.
Hope you like it!
If you would like me to post more of the story, just reply!
